Guild meeting 18th October

At the meeting were Ryleen, Chabat, Snicka, Razéal, Lahni, Hadunka, Ziri, Nimnir, Ravajin and Ros. We were also joined by our newest member, Vajro.

Vajro briefly introduced himself to us. He is a hunter and his patron Loa is Akilzon, the forest troll eagle Loa though he says he is not of the Amani tribe.

Ryleen asked Ravajin for an update on our offer to help the Darkspear with clearing the echo isles. The search for Snicka’s soul fragment and divining the correct ritual to re-forge our former warlord’s soul has taken precedence over this.

However, with Lahni’s current injuries, the re-forging ritual will have to wait and we can send a group to Durotar to honour our offer of assistance.

Ryleen then gave us all the details of how Lahni received her injuries and what this means for us.

A group called the Theatre of Cruelty, essentially a band of criminals, abducted Lahni in an attempt to find out how to circumvent the defences of Antu’Rah. Among other things, they broke her ankles and she is only back with us because one member of the Theatre, who Ryleen once called friend, helped her escape.

The elf, Sariia, is now staying in the visitor’s village after offering herself as a hostage and is to be treated as a guest.

Ryleen has written to the leaders of the Theatre demanding to know why they have acted against us in this way but has yet to receive a reply. In the mean time, we should try to gather information about this criminal band; their numbers and agenda, and if possible, where their base might be.

Lahni informed us that she was taken to Tanaris, so this may be a place to begin searching, but it is likely that the Theatre may use the desert simply to take their captives to for questioning.

Ryleen had further bad new for us. GraanShaKuun, an Orc and member of the Warsong Blades who Ryleen had a close relationship with; is not dead, as we were told and in fact, it seems he still feels he has unfinished business with our Matriarch.

Given that the last we saw of Graan, he was part of the group that took the Orc children from her, this cannot be a good thing. Of course, the worst part of this situation is that GraanShaKuun knows the way into the valley and can lead others in too.

Graan is a bald, dark skinned orc with a distinct Fel taint and little restraint; should you see him, exercise extreme caution.

After a short discussion about the possibility of somebody other than Lahni performing the soul re-forging ritual, the answer to which turned out to be no, the meeting came to a close.
After the meeting, Ryleen took Nimnir’s oath and we welcomed him in the spirit link.

note: after the meeting, 'Bats put up several magical wards around hers and Kaz's hut. They have proved to be an effective barrier against people tainted by Fel as Leamhan couldn't pass through. (thanks again for that rp Olof Smile )
