Physical description:
With long arms and legs, a blue skin and a typical accent, Zolvane looks just like any other troll found on Azeroth.
He normally wears leather armor and has 2 axes hanging on his belt.
Personality:
Unlike other trolls, Zolvane cares about every living being. Be it a troll, a gnome, boar or an elemental being. Some beings though are to be questioned, like demons.
Brief background story:
Being born as one of the Darkspear Trolls, Zolvane has always known war. Be it a big or a small conflict. Many races have battled with the Darkspear Trolls, even other Trolls, but the Darkspears always survived.

Soon Sen'jin, the spiritual leader of the Darkspears, became aware of the spiritual power that was sleeping in Zolvane's body. When Zolvane was old enough, Sen'jin decided to teach him in the ways of the shaman. Knowing little of what that actually meant, Zolvane happily accepted.

The training went exceptional well. First Zolvane had to learn the history, not only that of the Trolls, but of whole Azeroth as far as was known. Zolvane absorbed every bit of information like a sponge. In one week he was ready for earning the elemental totems.

In a few weeks he had earned both the earth and the fire elementals' respect and had gained their totems. At the time he was ready for the water element, a scout reported to Sen'jin that the recent activities of the Murlocs had slaughtered his entire outpost. "Suddenly Murlocs be appearin' from all sides. They be runnin' at us and killin' everyone in sight. Me was partollin' on mi own, so I was able to flee."

This came heavily on Zolvane, because his parents both where at that outpost. Zolvane was not able to continue his training not only because of this, but also because he could not understand why the sea would let its creatures do such things.

As the weeks passed, Zolvane's state was far from improving. Meanwhile his fellow Trolls where at war with the murlocs. Although they where able to withstand the murlocs, they still suffered great losses. They could not last much longer...

One day that week Sen'jin came back from a small patrol and told the Darkspears that some greenskins who called themselves orcs had stranded on the island. "They be acceptin' to help us fightin' the murlocs, so they be joinin' us in the fight."

The Trolls where very happy with the Orcs' help, but not long after their arival the murlocs attacked. In their assault they only killed a few Orcs and Trolls. The others where taking captive, including Sen'jin and the Orcs' warchief Trall. Zolvane was captured as well.

Soon though Thrall escaped from his cage. Freeing every Orc and Troll he could find, Thrall searched for Sen'jin, while killing every murloc they could find. Zolvane was freed as well, but was barely aware of what was happening.

Soon they reached a large room filled with murlocs. They all seemed to be preparing a ritual. Suddenly Zolvane noticed the body of Sen'jin lying on top of an altar that was located at the far end of the room. Screaming out loud, Zolvane wanted to run off to save him but 2 other Trolls where just able to withhold him.

While Zolvane was being held back, it seemed that the murlocs wanted to sacrifice Sen'jin to the Sea Witch, whom they worshipped. The Orcs and Trolls where able to kill all the murlocs, but where too late to save Sen'jin. When they ran out of the cave the Sea Witch appeared. Threatening them that soon all the land would become part of the ocean and that they would never get away alive, the Orcs and Trolls charged at the Sea Witch. After defeating her they ran to the Orcs' ships. The Trolls agreed to go with the Orcs since their island was doomed and their leader was dead, so they entered the ships as well. Zolvane joined them too, but his state was even worse than before. The loss of his master increased his depression even further than how it already was.

After arriving on the continent Kalimdor the Orcs build their city called Orgrimmar in the land Thrall had called Durotar in honor of his father Duratan. The Trolls established themselves on a few small islands in the South of Durotar which they called the Echo Isles.

For a while Zolvane was in a depressed state, but after a few weeks he got told by a few other Trolls that if he did not start doing something for the tribe, he would be exiled. In truth the Trolls never meant to exile him. They only wanted to send him on a journey to recover from his depression. During the next night, Zolvane secretly left the Echo Isles and went on a journey, thinking he was actually exiled.

After a few days he saw a group of Trolls. They where camping, but seemed to be on a journey themselves. Zolvane walked toward the Trolls expecting friendship. He clearly had forgotting all he knew about other Trolls. Since the Darkspears where considered as enemy's to nearly all other Troll Tribes, the camping Forest Trolls attacked Zolvane as soon as they noticed the darkspear sign on his robe. Feeling abandoned once again, Zolvane bursted out in fury and unleased his fiery power on the Trolls. Because his power of the fire element was fueled immensely by his rage a large explosion followed, burning the Forest Trolls to ashes and scorching the earth for several yards.

After he had gained a little more control over his powers, Zolvane realised that he had to further gain control in the elements and to continue his training as a Shaman. Feeling that he would not be welcome to the Darkspears, Zolvane went on in search for a teacher somewhere else.

While walking he was thinking further about everything he had learned about the Trolls history. He knew that the Trolls were split into a large amount of Tribes. While some shared a sort of Friendship, they usually where at war with each other, caring about other Trolls Tribes as little as they cared about other races. He also remembered that once, all Trolls where united as one huge Tribe of Trolls. At that moment something got into his mind. He wanted to do something with his life, something that would benefit not only himself, but as much beings as possible. Although he realized that it was not possible he aimed to unite every race on Azeroth and build a everlasting friendship between them.

He wanted to start with the Trolls, but before he could do that he had to find a teacher. Believing that the Orcs might help him, he headed for Orgrimmar to look for a shaman there.

When Orgimmar came in sight, Zolvane looked amazed at the fortress. It looked so strong that he believed that it invincible. Walking along he saw two guards standing on either side of the gate. He was relieved when he noticed that it didn't seem as if the guards wanted to stop him. Walking to the guard on the left he asked: "Hey mon, care ta tell mi where mi can find a shaman willin' to teach me?"
"Sure, go up the Wind Rider tower and walk up the right rope bridge and then follow the road. Eventually you will reach the Valley of Wisdom, where Trall resides. Inside the structure are his shamans and they are always happy with new apprentices. Thrall himself is a shaman as well, but don't count on it to get lessons from him! Hahaha!"

Only after he got inside Ogrimmar he noticed how huge it was. He had never been far away from the Echo Isles, so this was all new to him. Partly he felt like it was so busy and confusing that he thought he didn't belong here, but on the other hand he had a feeling of peace that he hadn't had for a long time. Walking along, he went up the Wind Rider tower (and marveled at the great beasts), crossed the right rope bridge and walked into the Valley of Wisdom. Stading outside of the structure, he felt a strange, but yet so familier air around it. When he walked inside he remembered, it was the same feeling that always surrounded his former master Sen'jin!
What are your character's motivations?:
The ultimate goal he has in his life is to unify all beings. He knows it is impossible, but still tries his very best to achieve as much as he can.

What do you know about us, and why should we be interested in you?:
I know that the Heritage is a group of Trolls that try to unite every tribe of the past.
Currently the members of the Heritage are considered exiles from the Horde because their leader was accused of "treason" and the rest followed her on it.
Currently the Heritage camps in a shady nook of Ashenvale and is on it's way to Shatterspear Valley.

RP-experience:
I have been passionate about roleplay for years now, but have not roleplayed much in WoW until a few weeks ago.
I consider myself addicted to the WoW lore, but know my place when I roleplay. I have a good knowledge of what actions fit with different situations. I don't use knowledge my character does not know. I don't metagame and I try to make the RP experience fun for everyone.
I have even made website called World of Roleplay dedicated to roleplay and character background story's (for roleplay in general).
Last but not least, I have also experience with LARP(Life Action RolePlay). Look it up if you don't know what it really is.
Are you: willing to help guildies, partake in casual RP and RP events, and aware that whilst we do some pve content, this is not an endgame raiding guild?*:
I am totally open to all sorts of things. My goal when I play is to have a fun experience no matter what. I don't care if I don't get anything out of helping a guild member, as long as the experience itself was enjoyable.

Yea, I left the age out of it since I wasn't sure how to determine it.
I couldn't find anywhere how old Trolls can become.

Up to 70-80 years, I guess.

There is a bit about it in the troll rp guide. Trolls age about the same as humans, but due to their culture they usually count as adults a few years earlier. They age faster though, and any troll older than sixty is really really old, and you can be considered middle aged around thirty.

What? But.. I fixed that! Or I thought I did.... Hrm..

I just recently realized quite a critical mistake I have made in my story.
When I started writing it I wanted my character to be a Witch Doctor, but when I got further, I realized that a Witch Doctor wasn't where I wanted to go with Zolvane, so I changed it to a Shaman.
Now I realized that the Darkspear Trolls started learning the arts of Shamanism from the Orcs and Tauren, while my character was learning them before they even met Thrall.
I have no idea how I am going to fix this without drastically changing my background story...

Although troll shamans indeed have learned their arts from orcs and tauren, I am sure there were Darkspear trolls before who used elemental magic; they just didn't gain them from the elements directly, but by the help of the Loa.

Hmm. That could be. I didn't really thought about it that way (my mind often doesn't seem to catch on to the obvious today...).
Zolvane's teacher was Sen'jin, so he could potentially have had connections with the elements besides the spirits (him being a Witch Docter/Priest).
