[rp ritual] Lifting the Curse
Zin'Zalji volunteered himself to gather the Shaman of the heritage (and any others that might like to help out ) but we were going to ask ppl to have some input as to how we carry out the ritual and what role the non-shaman can take.
So, if people post what class they are and what they think they can do in the ritual and then posted any other suggestions i think that should work out ok.
I'd also like to be a little selfish and ask that, if possible, we do the event by this weekend as i go away for a week on monday

Re: [rp ritual] Lifting the Curse
I am a hunter and I have a lvl 73 Windserpent in the stables, pale blue underside and white back. I can also get a large hooded Emperor snake from Sholazar basin, yellow or possibly blue. They are quite big and stand up like a cobra.
If required I can take control of the snake and perform a part in the ritual.
If my hunter abilities aren't needed ( or warrior Djinja ) then I will happily do anything else to help, even just stand in the crowd and admire
Definitely up for it by the weekend, it would be nice to match the standard of the Loa ceremony for Chabat and Dey.
Skeen.

Re: [rp ritual] Lifting the Curse
Well Skeen, I think it's best if we use a Snake. Since the Wind serpent is familar with hakkar, i doubt we can make one lift a course, propbally made by him. On a quest in Zangar Marsh, I found out, that Darkspear trolls Worship Serpents spirits:
Seer Jandi says this when u complete quest: Spirits of the Feralfen
"Hmm... They seem to be divided between images of a serpent spirit and a bird spirit. No self-respecting Darkspear troll engages in bird worship. Their spirits are weak, capricious, and best left to the Amani. But the serpent, <name>, the serpent wields considerable power and this is the spirit I shall study. "

Re: [rp ritual] Lifting the Curse
Images of serpents are by far the most common types of carvings in cities and ruins of both jungle troll and forest troll tribes.
Darkspears (like all jungle trolls) worship the Primal Snake Goddess, Hethiss. (The Merciless, the Cunning, the Wise, the Mysterious. May her sacred coils ever embrace the faithful.) The Amani worship a primal snake god called Ula-tek. Most likely this is another aspect of the same ancient god-spirit.
Loa Dambala (The Trickster, the Betrayer, the Master of Treachery) is a loa of serpents and many believe that he can appear to mortals in the form of a snake. There are probably many other snake spirits that are worshipped.
Seer Jandi is right about bird-spirits. Worshipping them is best left to others. In my opinion, the same goes for riding a bird . . .

Re: [rp ritual] Lifting the Curse
Another snake spirit, worshipped by the Drakkari trolls, was Sseratus, until he was slain by his own prophet (the fool!).
The only bird spirits I can think of are Akil'zon the Eagle and Jan'alai the Dragonhawk, both worshipped by the Amani - and easily bended to the will of Hex Lord Malacrass, but probably there are many others. (Hir'eek the Bat, Quetz'lun the Wind Serpent, and Hakkar himself, are not birds, but flying creatures...)
By riding a bird, are you referring to the Hawkstriders?

Re: [rp ritual] Lifting the Curse
Yes, I was referring to hawkstriders. Ridiculous creatures.
I'm still annoyed that the only way to learn to joust at the Argent Tournament is to practice on one of them. It was such a relief to eventually be able to use a raptor.
