Application of Jotek
The following form is presented in a neat handwriting within a crisp manilla folder
Name: Jotek, no surname.
Ethnicity: Troll, clan undetermined.
Profession: ((Hunter)) Scout-Sniper/Ranger private sector. References available upon request.
((Character level: 15))
((Professions: Skinning, Leatherworking))
((Why do you want to join us?: Good RP guild, my mains are Kaalesh, Jannack and Tachan of the Ashen Order, and variety in RP is always pleasant))
((How often do you play WoW?: I'm online several times a week.))
((Roleplaying experience: Years within the AO. Most of you know at least one of the above characters.))
((Character History: Raised as an orphan of the Second War and grew up in Horde camps. Started work at four in the pig farms and moved on to tracking and hunting animals for a living. Age 19, conscripted into Horde service and adapted techniques for hunting animals to hunting humans. Worked with messenger birds to convey troop movements and terrain details. Age 22, discharged from Horde forces when his entire platoon was wiped out during an ambush. Took skills private sector working for a range of organisations (from the Venture Co, to the Southsea Pirates to organised crime in the Horde cities. Met a Tauren by the name of Armarn, who he considers to be his brother after several years of working together. Currently looking for work.))

Re: Application of Jotek
Sounds like an interesting one. Hm.. second war. Amani perhaps then?
I don't see anything that seems strange with your story, so the next step would be contacting one of us ingame for an ic talk
((Also, for the rest of you: We really ought to update the template for applications.. it's horrible. Remind me to create a better one!))

Re: Application of Jotek
indeed, the template is rather focussed on OOC issues and doesn't really lead the applicant through any of the basic character development points like age, origins and so on.

Re: Application of Jotek
Yeah.. it's an old old one, back from Snicka's days. Might even be as far back as when the guild first turned rp.
Re: Application of Jotek
Yes, itīs as old (and crappy) as Ryleen said; focusing very much on OOC and very little on IC. Just nobody bothered to update it since then.
Re: Application of Jotek
But don't we get bonus points for upholding traditions?

Re: Application of Jotek
You can give everything a better-sounding name. "Upholding traditions" instead of "being lazy to update"...
Re: Application of Jotek
That's exactly my job in this guild as a Master SlackerSnicka wrote:You can give everything a better-sounding name.
