Deyy's Patron Loa

Deyy and i had a little chat last night and in the interest of moving this forward, i volunteered to have Vypra help her with it.

I feel that any shaman (or preist) could do this ritual if they have the knowledge and experience and Vyp has both. We've also done a little ground work on this a little while back when Vypra explained some of the attributes of the various Loa to Deyy.

We decided, for this ritual, it requires a lot of trust between the shaman and the seeker and Deyy would feel more comfortable with a female shaman, so Vyp is a valid choice.

TBH, i'm pushing this because i have the time to do it and i feel Deyy can't really move forward until this takes place. Its been one of those things that keeps getting put back for one reason or another (none of it anybody's fault ofc, thats just how it's happened) and i don't have the temperment to just sit there and wait for an opportune moment when i know i can make one

The tattoo ritual and the following bloodsister ritual can be done by Gen'jin once he has done his Shadow hunter ritual as i feel these, especially the bloodsister ritual, -should- be carried out by a member of the Heritage. It would be great to see Gen'jin do it too. The ritual he did in undercity was great and i'd love to see what he comes up with for this one

Anybody is welcome to consult Vyp for stuff like this if there are no other troll shaman online btw. It would be nice to keep these things in guild, but we have to face the fact that monday evenings are -still- the only time we really seem to be online at the same time. So if you need a rent-a-shaman, just shout up in lfrp and i'll get my mojo ready asap

I might have Ry approach Vypra for her ritual as well then. Since she made the decision to do it, she's really looked forward to it. That, and she wants it done before Gando returns, since he doesn't really approve of the idea.

Hehe, Gen'jin will be happy to peform the tatto ritual, and the bloodsister ritual too. Hmm has anyone knowledge of such a ritual? has anyone made it before?

the last tattoo ritual was performed by Gul'zayne and (i think) i wrote about it in chabat's diary. The Bloodsister ritual is entirely our own invention (i did make some suggestions of themes and stuff in the other thread though).

When a date is set for any ritual please can it appear on the guild calendar and i will do my best to come along.

Thanks Vypra for helping to move this along. I've been wondering (and worrying) about how to progress this for some time. I don't want Deyy to wait too long before becoming a Bloodsister, and Ryleen has already waited long enough for her patron loa ritual too.

As soon as Gen'jin is established as a Shadow Hunter we should press ahead with both of these rituals.

And I will do my best to remember to put all important dates on the guild calendar.

And we finally got to actually doing this! It was a great event, thank you all!

That would be Haradar. He's actually one of the Blades, but joined us temporarily to learn more about trolls, as well as teach us about orcs, in order to better the understanding between Heritage and Blades.
