House activities in Stranglethorn
After talking a bit to Archnazg, we have agreed to a few things concerning the House's new plot concerning Stranglethorn.
Here's what we know at this point:
They're not actually hunting us, and are unlikely to assault Antu'Rah.
What they're actually after is the oil rig that we've been sabotaging regularly. They want to make money.
Neither we nor them has anything to win from open battle.
There is however plenty of room for playing terrorists on our part. Curses, explosives and whatever we can come up with.
This thread is for tracking what's going on, who controls what and so on. This so that you can keep track of what's happening even when you weren't online at the time. At this point in time, there has yet to be any House activity in the valley. (as for those aware of the nocturnal visit we got.. don't think to much about it. They metagamed their way into the valley and it won't count)

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
"The Royal House of Sylvanas have taken control of an oil rig in Stranglethorn Vale as part of their corporate ambitions. A material alliance has been formed with the Blackwood Company and the House of Sylvanas.
The Royal Treasuries are dwindling and export must be increased to fund the war efforts of the Forsaken.
The House's engineers have begun the repairs with the materials supplied by Rokalm of the Blackwood Company.
The Dark Lord has claimed this will be the first of many enterprises around Azeroth. They will be expanding their hunt for resources into other territories.
It is said drilling will begin within the week once the engineers have completed the repairs."

The more info the better! Here's what I've all recorded so far.
- HoS have discovered the possible location of the base.
- The HoZ base is protected by a force field that is beyond HoS' power to break.
- There are many security systems in place that inform HoZ of presence near their area.
- Archnazg has ordered the oil rig in STV to be taken over, repaired and to start drilling again for HOS.
- Oil rig taken
- Razeal sent to tell HoZ we aint wanting to fight but will defend this oil rig very strongly
- Material alliance with Rokalm's Blackwood Company formed.
- Arshes is to fix the rig with materials supplied by Rokalm.
- Regiment sent to guard the rig.

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
It might be good for the house to know (directed at Achnazg) that the animals in ST in the aria of the oil rig is acting a bit strange. They are not rely hostaile (not more than usual) but they do act with a unusual high display of intelligence and use of tactiks.
If the forces of the house are not care full they might get in to a few scermishes and even lose some NPC soldiers.
This is due to Hadunka's influence over the animals in that region, especially the panthers. He is IC not a part of HoZ atm. And the animals are acting just the same to the members of HoZ. but agen ... they will not attack unles provoked .... like heavy machinery in their home

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
Every once in a while I'll clean this thread out, to keep it properly on topic.
Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
Ryleen sat perched on one of the big rocks lining the path up the steep hills. From here, she could just barely make out the silouette of the oil rig between the trees in the distance.
That was as close as she'd dare go at this point.
Part of her wanted to sneak over there and set the place on fire. Again. It had brought an undeniable sense of satisfaction the first time they'd wrecked the place for the goblins who used to own it. Or maybe she could ask one of the shamans to talk to the spirits of the earth, pinch the hole leading down to the oil shut. At least that'd delay the work.
But it would have to wait. This new plan was much more interesting. She looked forward to hearing the results once it was set in motion. But for now, all she could do was wait for Razéal's return. Hopefully he'd have the objects they needed when he came back from the north.
She couldn't help but grin to herself as she stood up and begun the climb up to her hidden home. Not exactly the revenge she had dreamt of, but she'd take what she could get...

(Not sure if this is what you wanted...If not let me know and I'll sort it out.)
“Do you...Have them?” Came the raspy voice of the hooded figure.
Standing opposite was a nervous sounding Blood Elf male, although he sounded nervous he covered it well with his confident stature.
“Of cause I have. You know me! But you know the deal...No delivery until I get the gold.” The Blood Elf grins widely at the hooded figure as he holds out his hand.
The figure pulls out a small yet sizeable bag, presumably containing gold and throws it to the Elf who fumbles as he catches it.
“They are not...From...The Undercity...Correct?” Growls the hooded figure as he crouches by the large sheet covered items.
“You told me not to. What kind of person do you take me for? Infact...Don’t answer that!”
“Where...Are they from...” The figure doesn’t seem interested in joking a sense of urgency in his voice.
“Venomspite...They look like what you were asking for.” The Blood Elf opens the small bag and peers in at the gold.
“Good...The House...Cannot find...These missing...”
“What do you want them for anyway? I thought you were trying to change your ways?” The Elf seem rather curious about the intentions.
The crouching figure turns its head slightly and looks up at the elf...The moonlight catching small features of his face, the most defining being that he only has one eye.
“The less...You know...The better...Now...Leave...”
“Not even a thank you? Ya know we really need to work on your people skills.” The Blood Elf sighs as he turns around the leaves.
Once out of sight the figure pulls back the shit revealing the items are infact two canisters of...Blight?!

That's great Do you want me to do the part of how they're planted on the oil rig? It's about time we get it to a point where Kay can pick it up and bring it to the Pact.

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
(I got carried away sorry ^.^ However this has made me want to write a little story about Raz when he was alive.)
The oil rig stands eerily in the shadows on the night. Seemingly lifeless except from the occasional sight of a patrol. Expendable Forsaken...Nothing but cheap hired guards of The House. In the nearby darkness lurks another being, an unwelcome one at that. Behind it sits a large object on a wooden trailer covered by a sheet.
The figure steps out of the darkness cautiously, it’s features hidden by a hood, it scans the area checking if the coast is clear. Walking behind the trailer the figure begins to push the cargo along a bumpy dusty jungle path, stopping every now and then to check for the patrol.
The hooded figure emits a low growl as the patrol appears in sight and begins walking in it’s direction. Using the cover of night the figure abandons its post and conceals itself in the shadows as the patrol reaches the trailer and stops to investigate.
“What’s this all about?” One of the guards grunts as he prods at it with the tip of his blade.
“We got hired to keep people out didn’t we...Not to move barrels....Just leave it!” Replies another as he continues to walk along the path.
The third guard, who is missing his lower jaw grumbles some inaudible words that come out merely as huffs of air and gargles of saliva from his throat...The other two look at each other and then back at the verbally challenged one...Shaking their heads they begin to walk off leaving the abandoned trailer.
Once out of sight the hooded figure emerges from the shadows and continues to push the trailer towards the oil rig. It is clear he had already determined where this trailer will be left. Leaving the cover on the items he tucks it away out of obvious sight, unless The House were really looking for this they would just suspect it was another couple of oil barrels...But no...Under that sheet lurks a single barrel of Blight.
The figure turns and peers over its shoulder as the moon catches a glimpse of the features of the face...Just an eye patch.
Sinking back into the shadows as far as he knew it was mission accomplished...

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
Summary post:
1) Raz had a two canisters of Blight "borrowed" by a Blood Elf friend of his...
2) Raz treked across that damned jungle lugging a barrel of Blight disguised as an oil barrel...The two canisters fit into one barrel...
3) Raz hid the barrel on the oil rig...The House wouldn't find it unless they were really looking for it...But should any external authority decide to carry out an inspection and do it properly being sure to check all barrels they will come across it...
4) As far as he knows he wasn't spotted as it was all done under the cover of night...

Blight was discovered, but Archnazg agreed to a full investigation into it with Katalmach. Also Katalmach has allowed to move against the Heritage should they threaten the oil operation.

Also .. there is animals guarding Antu'Rha now. They are a total of 5 panthers al fairly young (not the cubs). Highly trained in stealth and combat by Hadunka.
Unless they have a reason to come out from hiding will no one notice them. A reason would be a unfriendly person trying to enter the valley ... stealthed or unstealthed. They are posted at the entrance to the valley and the entrance to the village.

Yeah.. The baby has one, but he's away.. Ry could probably use a new champion.
Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
For those who weren't there:
Last night Ryleen got captured by the House of Sylvanas. Under threat of being poisoned they demanded that she go to the pact and take responsibility for the blight found on the oil rig (this without them knowing for sure that it's actually true! ). She would also agree to anything the House said, making it seem like they were right to want to attack and wipe out the Heritage. And lastly, the Heritage would become vassals of the House. (I think that's all. Arch, correct me if I forgot something)
Fearing for the life of her baby, she agreed to everything what was said. In the end she was poisoned anyway, a slow working poison that would give the baby three days to live, and her five.
During all this, she had been calling for help over the spirit link. Kaz'jo, Chabat, Gen'jin and Lahni had located Alaster, and brought him with them to Undercity to rescue her. Alaster made clear that he was not there to rescue Ryleen, but her baby. The baby's father is Vaali Tzataluul, a councillor of the Ashen Order, and thus the baby is considered a part of the Order as well. He made clear that any harm done to the baby would be considered the House attacking the Order, and they would respond accordingly.
Ryleen was brought to Dalaran, where Alaster immediately started work on finding an antidote. She is currently staying in Vaali's home in Dalaran, and is under orders to stay there until an antidote has been found.

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
As I said, I’m sorry for throwing a strop about this last night. I was not really in the right frame of mind to deal with the situation and should have known to just leave it.
That said, I do have issues with this. The main one being that we spent all that time building defences that the House couldn’t possibly breach and staying out of their way so we can have a quiet life (read: not get murdered ), only for Ry to go wave the red rag at the bull by goading Arch and then go try and take it by the horns by walking out of the protection of our impregnable valley to confront what seemed like the entire House all alone
Now, Ry, its entirely up to you what you do with your character of course, so if you want her to have suicidal tendencies, that’s fine…unfortunately, to me, it appears that as a guild, we are now right back in the situation we worked so hard to avoid, namely, the end of the Heritage.
Please tell me I’m just being pessimistic because, though the idea of being vassals to the House has potential for some interesting rp, it kinda means we’re not a separate guild anymore. The Heritage will no longer exist as an entity in the way we have before.
I guess I’m just not seeing where we can go from here given that we have gone against the terms of our exile and totally incriminated ourselves

Re: House activities in Stranglethorn
Well, we will not have to fulfill anything Ry promised Arch under the threat of torture, especially as she will now get the antidote from Alaster.
The part of provoking Arch when they met.. That was a mistake on my part, I didn't originally think what she said would be interpreted as a threat.
And as for last night, it was her trying to divert their attention away from the wards and the valley. She knew none of the shamans were around to reinforce them, and didn't know if the House would break through or not if they tried, now that they had somehow located them. She believed that she'd be safe meeting them in the middle of Grom'gol, surrounded by horde guards and other people. That, of course, was stupid, and yet another of the long string of events of her thinking she did the right thing, only to mess up horribly.
On the bright side, Arch has dug himself a pretty deep hole now. By trying to make Ryleen take blame for the blight, he's pretty much admitted that he is the real one behind it.
