Guild meeting 19th April

At the meeting were Guljun, Vypra, Kaz’jo, Ryleen, Chabat, Hadunka and Ravajin. We were joined later by Zen’Ros.

While waiting for any latecomers, Hadunka gave us an update on the new raptor enclosure. It should be large enough for our needs and provide plenty of space for the animals.

Once it seemed like everybody had assembled, Ryleen moved onto more serious matters. The Blood Pact is now aware that the whole of the Heritage was in on helping the children to be hidden. In their eyes, this is treachery on the same level as the act that resulted in Ryleen’s exile and as such, we may all face the same fate. While this is not yet a certainty, every member of the Heritage is urged to think very hard about where their loyalties lie. Those who choose to stay risk being forced to cut all ties with their families and friends in the Horde. Those that leave will not be blamed for their choice, only missed.

With this point still forefront on our minds, Ryleen then informed us that the children were forcefully removed from the spirit link four nights ago. They have been taken to a secret location known only to one of the Blades thus making it as difficult as possible for us to find them again.

Obviously, this goes against all the promises that our co-operation would mean Ryleen could still see Mok, Tala and Ubo. GraanShaKuun admitted to her that he had lied; not only will she not get to see them but any messages to them will go through him so he can be sure they are suitable for the children to hear.

However, Ryleen has a plan to at least give us all the chance to say goodbye. It does mean that we must put our trust in a Blood Elf Warlock but there is little he can do to harm us and Ryleen is willing to let him try. The Elf will perform the summoning on Thursday evening and we will hold a going away party for the children before sending them back, hopefully, with the Blades unaware of what has happened.

At this point, Zul’Ros seated himself at the meeting. After some questioning, and now calling himself Zen’Ros, he revealed that his body is now inhabited by both himself and the ancestor spirit, Zen’Zil. As this joining means that ‘Ros still has some control over his body, he has agreed to share it. He also mentioned that, while their spirits are now fused to an extent, they can still be separated.

While bringing ‘Ros up to date on what has been happening, Ryleen revealed that the new leader of AIM, the mercenary group formerly led by the troll Jahraka, has contacted her with hope of forming an alliance. There are many reasons not to trust him, not least that he is a Death Knight, however, we are in need of allies and, as they plan to have their base in Stranglethorn, it may be worth seeing how things work out.

The mention of allies brought up the subject of the Blood Pact. The general feeling was that they now represent a threat, rather than safety. The Orcs have, time and again, taken the side of the devious forsaken over us and seem set to see us exiled and, despite the help they have provided in the past, the Ashen Order seem either powerless or unwilling to do anything about this. It seems that the Pact will not have the Heritage as a member for much longer.

Before the meeting was closed, Ryleen decided that in light of our past dealings with Zen’zil, Zen’Ros must re-take his oath and prove himself to us again before we can trust him. This did not sit to well with the ancestor and he declined to take the oath right away, however, while He cannot speak over the link, he can hear all that ‘Ros does so we should all be mindful of this fact.

Finally, Vypra became the first to choose to leave the Heritage. There were a few reasons but an important one was her oath to the Warchief. It was a sad moment to see her leave despite her only being with us for such a short time as it brought home the possibility that others may do the same.
