Rp themes to be developed

At the moment we have a lot of stuff to work with for anybody that wants to put the effort in and generate some RP.

1) We need an new acting Warlord and Primal and possibly two Masters ( we used to have 5 but are down to 1: Chabat, the master scribe who is also doubling up as acting primal ). If anybody would like to volunteer, or even just suggest a way that we can chose people to fill these roles, please post below.

2) The village in Antu'Rah is almost finished but there's still lots more restoration to do in the valley and we need materials. Kaz came up with the idea of raiding the Bloodscalp and Skullsplitter camps, and even Zul'gurub to appropriate what we need. All we need here is people to say if and when they are able to be involved in these raids. again, please post below.

3) Next we have the more tricky issues of helping Ryleen restore a) her magic and b) her standing in the Horde.
Any and all suggestions are welcome and help with doing whatever Ryleen decides to do would be nice

4) Finding Zul'ros's body and putting it and his spirit back together. 'Ros, if you have any plans for how you want to move this forward, let us know and we'll get on it
Also, if anybody wants to play the tricky spirit of ancestor Zen'zil, that would be a bonus

5) Finding new allies. Ryleen is keen for us to IC'ly contact the Frostwolf Guardians (a new RP guild). But, to meet them we'd need an excuse to be in Hillsbrad near the entrance to Alterac valley (the nearest Horde settlement would be Tarren mill ). Now, i do have one idea but I'll save it for now in case somebody else comes up with something good

6) Sertah and Tambjika's absence. Are the two connected? Will anybody find the chest Sertah left behind? (see her story in troll tales for details) and who received the letter sent by the forsaken Vivian Lagrave from Kargath?

have no ides atm .. i know had will not step forward for warlor .. he just is not the type. he is more "the Trusted semi smart dog standing by the warlord side coming with suggestions and looking powerful"

Well I say the best way is probably to have he do some thing that "contradicts" what she was accused of. Not nesesserly killing a bunch of inessent. Rather doing a heroic act for the horde. Say for example she (don't as me why or how) is in Ashenvale with 1-3 other HoZ (I volunteer!) members and they come across a blade warrior (pref a officer) in dire need of help and they save him. Wile she obviously leading the rescue.
This is just an example ... but I believe we need to have some thing the blades can acknowledge as a display of loyalty and Ryleen can do without braking her own "path".

No klu .. I think it is up to Ros what's going to happen next. But until then, we just keep looking. I know very little about this, and had is not exactly good at spiritual and magical stuff that stretches beyond the animal kingdom and some nature stuff. If we can lokate a point of the crime .. Had will most likely be (to some degree) able to track his body. Even if time hava past it is possible .. especially with Caithhan aiding him. She is a bit spiritual in nature and track on both planes

That is easy hadu travels thru there al the time .. he has a home in Raventusk (hinterlands) and his father still live there. he travels thou Hillsband every time he visits there. (yes I know about the FP ... but he prefers the nature way )

Some contests? We can gather every active members in one place, then ask them for what they can do. Then, find out masters in that and judge who's the best.

As Kaz was put in charge over all those raids and he's very hasty, he planned to attack as soon as two tribes are on raid against eachother. He managed to find out (after "gently questioning" one of Bloodscalps) that one of tribes will attack soon, so all we need are some volunteers and something to carry robbed materials.
As for Zul'Gurub, maybe we should make separate topic for it (Headhuntin'?) and gather people from the Heritage in one place and time?

About magic, that's probably up to Ryleen herself and I'm not exactly in that topic, so I will edit this one as soon as I'll find out what is going on.
About Horde standing - Hadu's idea is not bad at all. We can also do something less heroic, as for example supporting the Horde in their efforts at lake Wintergrasp, making friends (or at least someone non-hostile against us) among them, who can bolster our tries from inside.

First, Hadu's idea - he can take a few Heritage members to talk with Revantusks, to make sure that we're not hostile against eachother and maybe recriut a few on our side. So we can possibly meet a few of those orcs, or simply meet them by curiousity.
Also, we can get something from the undead of Hillsbrad (carts for transport of stolen materials? Or just some good food for Chabat's party at friday? There is one cook that makes a good turtle soup over there) and meet there with Frostwolves.
EDITED: New idea - Kaz asked Hadunka to move out with him to see one of undead from Tarren Mill, to collect his debt, which will be the cart, necessary for transporting materials. Then, we meet Frostwolves.

lol, funny you should say that, but i've been thinking on that and after last night, it seems to me that the guild faces either denying any further support for Ryleen and (effectively) disbanding or, continuing to support her and going into exile. This is actually a significant choice and people should think very carefully about what their characters would do.

If we continue to back Ry (and people should note that this means we take our oath to her as more binding than the oath all members of the Horde are supposed to make to the Warchief) and are exiled, our characters could no longer freely enter horde lands. We may also not be part of the developments that are coming with reclaiming the echo isles as they relate to the Darkspear who are part of the Horde.

Of course, this doesn’t cut us off from all rp but it will mean that we will probably have to rely a fair bit on people wanting to come and visit us for some reason.

Also, we wouldn’t be part of the blood pact any more (as it’s a Horde organisation) and so any contact with groups like the Ashen Order, the Blades etc will be at their instigation and reliant on them having a good reason to contact a group of traitors

One option for having some continuing contact with the Horde would be if we followed up on the Zandalari theme and made ourselves more closely tied to them though I’m not sure how that would work out.

This would also be a chance for us to become more ‘trollish’ i.e., reinstate some of the rituals that our parents would have done. Spend more time in hunting parties etc and actually start taking on the role that the Zandalari do of observing and recording…and for the most traditional trolls of all, once away from the Horde’s influence…maybe you might decide that the guild shouldn’t be lead by Ryleen anymore (or any female for that matter) and plan to do something about it

On the other hand, if we decide that our character’s Oath to serve the Horde is more important to them then essentially, we should quit the heritage, go before the Blood pact and declare that the actions of the Heritage were carried out against our will. It will be then for them to decide if they accept our word or (more likely) we would have to pass some kind of loyalty test and cut off all ties we had to any members of the Heritage remaining loyal to Ry.

You may decide to do this if 1) your character really is very loyal to the Horde, 2) you your character thinks that all the troubles that have befallen the guild are because there was a female in charge

I'd just like to say that any member who thinks that our guild's present troubles are because there was a female in charge will show themself to be a complete murka. Any male troll that expresses such a view is very likely to get a severe kick in the draks!

Our present troubles are because, for whatever reasons of their own, the Warsong Blades and even the Ashen Order are more willing to accept (or even agree with) the treacherous actions of that evil zuska Archnazg and his foul minions, than to stand up for we trolls, even though we have been their comrades-in-arms for far longer than these twisted Forsaken jilliks or the magic-addicted elven latecomers to the Horde!

Perhaps we are being too careful and defensive. Perhaps we should come out fighting. Why do we allow them to question our loyalty to the Horde? Why don't we doubt their loyalty when they side with the henchmen of the Banshee Queen, whose true intentions have always been in doubt? Why do the orcs not support us, the true and faithful followers of Vol'jin, Thrall's most trusted adviser?

Who was it betrayed us at the Wrathgate? Was it the brave and cunning Darkspears of the Horde? Or was it a traitor bred amongst the deviousness and secrecy of the Dark Lady's apothecaries? We all know the answer to that. So why, time and time again, do our 'allies' in the Blades and the Ashen Order turn against us, often in favour of Archnazg's latest infamy? Do they choose sides based purely on whose power they fear more? If so, I call them all cowards!

Most recently our troubles have been caused by Archnazg's murder of helpless innocents. Troll history is not without it's share of dark deeds. But I know of no instance during the days of the present Horde when trolls have stooped to the slaughter of womenfolk and babes in arms. That was an atrocity.

I hope that we trolls have learned from our long painful history that an atrocity never balances or resolves the past, it just prepares the way for more atrocity in the future. This we jungle trolls should know all too well after the atrocities of the Blood God (May he be forever cursed).

Perhaps we should restate, ever more boldly, our loyalty to Vol'jin, to Thrall, and to the Horde. But we should refuse to have any dealings with the Blood Pact whilst the wretched instigators of the atrocity at Southshore remain within it's ranks. What's more, we should refuse to deal with any who find ways to excuse the House of Sylvanas's treachery.

We should take a stand! As a Darkspear, I say that we have been pushed around enough!

- I actually works as an agent for hrm... Deathstalkers up there atm, in hillsbrad and Altarec. So im there most of times. But an assassin is not really someone you should send to them, better to send an higher ranked member also. I might give some aid by getting you through those lands without them attacking us. Though as Had´nka said, try get allies with Revantusk whould be better and safer. I cant be present with the Revantusk though, as im an Vilebranch.

As wich sides: Im behind Ryleen for 100%, as ye is the only ones i feel ic trusthed with, as im an former enemy of the Horde there are some who are a bit unsure of me. Havent actually sworn alligiance to the Horde even. Only to Ryleen, Shattered Hand and the Deathstalkers.

Update:

1) As most of you know the situation with the the blood pact and the blades in particular has gotten worse. Ryleen and i are discussing what we can do to keep the guild alive in the face of getting brutally murdered by the Blades and we'll get back to you as soon as we have something workable and ask you guys how you feel about it.

2) After an very intense and (on my part at least) completely unexpected rp development last night, Kaz'jo has undergone some significant character development; a side effect of which means Ryleen has her magic back again. Keep your eyes open for further developments!

3) The issue of leadership is patially resolved with Ry no longer pretending not to be the leader and Gen'jin returning as primal (hopefully). We still need some new masters so think about whether you might be up for the challange and we'll get round to sorting that out as soon as we know we're not all going to get murdered by the Blade

4) The raid on ZG is open for whenever we can all get there. I'll make a post in 'Headhunting' so people can post when is a good time for them...and please don;t just say 'anytime'. Days and rough times at the very least please

5) There seem to be many people that have an IC reason to go and arrange a meeting with the Frostwolf guardians so feel free to do so...gogogo!!!
