Dear Heritage of Zandalar,
I be hiring an Orcish scribe to write this application as I dictate it, as I never be having the time to learn those fiddly little ink scribbles. I done spending all my time learning to carve the traditional sacred glyphs, I could be writing this that way but I thought you maybe not be appreciating applications on ten-pound stone tablets. Also the loa would be smiting me for such a sacreligious use of the sacred glyphs.

Character name: Ravajin Raptorclaw.

Character race: Troll

Character class: Priest

Character level: 80

Professions: Imbuing power into items, using magic dusts and shards or carved gems.

Why do you want to join us? I be missing the company of my own kin, and I be believing in your idelas of a strong, united and peaceful troll society that respects and celebrates our traditional culture and customs. Well, except for the cannibalism, of course.

How often do you play WoW? ((At least a couple of hours a day, more like ten on weekends.))

Roleplaying experience: ((I've been a member of Ashen Order since just after it was formed and have three characters there currently, one of whom is a councillor. I also have a fair amount of tabletop RP experience))

Character history: From the moment I been born to today, not a single hair be growing on my body. I be bald as a raptor egg. Now, many people be superstitious about such things and say this be a curse, but my pappy was being a clever man, he say that I be blessed by the loa with great wisdom, because they make me look like the wise old sages who got no hair either. And maybe my pappy be right, but that's not Rava's place to say, still I be trying to live up to that reputation for his sake at least. And so the priests of my tribe say, as the loa think Rava be important, they going to be teaching me and give me the knowledge I need to make use of this blessing. This be a great honour of course... even if I didn't be thinking so as a young boy. Hours of studying rituals and chants and holy glyphs every day isn't every whelp's idea of fun. So when the tribe be getting antsy about all this warring and undead-fighting that be going on up north, Rava be jumping at the chance to finally leave the temples and I been volunteering to join the Horde against this threat. Maybe that be what the Loa bless me for?
However, I be finding that life outside be exciting but it also be cold, and dangerous, and hungry. I no be used to having to earn money and buy things, the temple was giving me all that I be needing. I sometimes be having to wander the streets of the big towns trying to sell wanga dolls, gris-gris and other hoodoo talismans to foreigners. Being honest with you, these no be items of true juju - such things be too expensive for most people, and I no be trusting peasants with anything really powerful - but in these hard times, everyone be wanting a little hope to cling to, cha?

Our apologies Sam, we seem to have neglected to tell you that once we've met the Character and accepted the application, the next step is to simply turn up at the next Guild meeting or dinner event and an officer will invite you by means of of our 'spirit link connection' thingy that we do Smile

Hope to see you soon and sorry once again for any confusion Embarassed

You know, last night I was saying to Alex (Rooke) "I really fancy some RP! That HoZ meeting sounds fun! Do you think I could bring Rava?" And he told me "Nah, I don't think so sorry, it seems to be guild-only." Evil or Very Mad I think he just wants to keep you all to himself! Wink
