Pact meeting

The Ashen Order called a meeting of the Pact to address the current conflict between the Heritage of Zandalar and the House of Sylvanas.

Present at the meeting were representatives from the House, the Heritage, the Ashen Order, the Grimwolves and the Gthazagars. The Warsong Blades arrived later.

The Issues raised were the following:

- A member of the House of Sylvanas, named as Celtius was severely maimed by members of the Heritage of Zandalar. There was, however, some disagreement as to the severity of said injuries.

- A member of the Heritage, named as Lyranne, approached the House for help regarding a personal matter prior to the attack mentioned above. This person was then killed by members of the House.

- Lyranne was ‘resurrected’ by her own means and is now undead.

- In response to this matter, a member of the Heritage; named as Corigo, acting upon his own initiative, took violent action against the House and was also killed.

- The House accepted their responsibility for the death of Lyranne and agreed to abide by the decision of the Order in the matter.

- Both the Gthazagars and the Grimwolves felt that an Honour duel should suffice to settle the differences between the two parties so that the issue could be resolved quickly and with minimal disruption to the Horde as a whole.

- The Warsong Blades felt the matter was of little consequence and in fact showed some amusement at the idea of the conflict stating that ‘It will do the House good to learn boundaries and the Heritage good to learn backbone.’

- Vypra also felt that it was time the House was called upon to constrain their behaviour. However, she was unable to suggest any solution that the House would truly abide by and the Heritage would find as fitting.

- Proceedings finally broke down when the House revealed that they had cremated the body of the warrior Corigo. The Trolls would no longer stay to speak with the House in light of their abhorrence of cremation as a form of funerary rite.

- As the meeting closed, spies from the Blades brought to the attention of Vypra and the Order the discovery that the House had lied about the cremation of Corigo. It seems their true intention was to instead raise him to undeath and send him against his former guild members.

Pact Meeting 2nd September Empty After the meeting

Post  Gen'jin Thu Sep 03, 2009 4:56 pm

Furious about the pact meetings outcome, Ryleen and Gen'jin left in protest.
The meeting had been long and intense, so they both needed some fresh air to cool their battle heated tempers.

They left the Valley of Honour, and went north through the Drag to the Valley of Wisdom. They then proceeded down the road, leading to the valley of spirits. They stopped by the bridge leading to the Wyvern tower, and decided to rest on the balcony, overlooking the bridge and the Valley of strength.

The soothing western winds from the Valley of Spirits were calm and light, and soon they both felt at ease. However Ryleen was burden with a feeling of guilt.

She was certain that she alone had caused the early dead of Corigo. Tears began crawling down her chins, and the soothing winds did little to ease her pain. As she looked up the sky, small tears were carried away by the winds, revealing at transparent rainbow.

Gen’jin walked behind her, and put his hands on her shoulders, telling her that nothing was on her to blame. As they stood there, in the calm evening breeze, a small change came upon Ryleen. She turned around, and faced Gen’jin.

Though her light furred chins were moist by tears, her face was of a determent Woman. She looked Gen’jin in the eyes, and without hesitation she said: “Will you be my Primal?”

A half an hour later, somewhere outside Undercity:

Gen’jin led Haradar and Ryleen Through a secret path, into the Undercity itself. They carefully went trough a long sewer. They kept their heads down as Bat riders, flying in and out of Undercity, were flying above.

They finally made it to the door, leading into the streets of undercity, however a huge abomination, was guarding it. Gen’jin, snuck close, and managed to sting the guard with a “Wyvern sting”, and they made their way in. Once inside the city, they blended into the crowds.

They made their way to the heavily guarded entrance of the Apothecary. Ryleen had hunched that it was in there Corigo’s remains was being held.
Getting in was major issue, but Gen’jin had not come unprepared. He shared an invisibility potion with Haradar, and Ryleen, being a mage, casted an invisibility spell on herself.

However they arrived, only to find they were too late. Corigo had already been risen an undead, and no longer remembered his past. Razanath and her underlings manipulated Coirgo, to believe his only purpose was to serve the dark lady.

Ryleen attempted to win Corigo over, but he was manipulated to hard, and struck her down with his axe. Afterwards he went on Haradar, who proved to be more prepared, to fight.

Gen’jin was locked in an bow on bow Combat with a member of the House, and watched helplessly as Haradar too was overcome by Corigo, but as Corigo was about to finish him of Razanath ordered Him to halt and withdraw himself. Saying that no Warsong was to die on their territory.

The Heritage was given an ultimatum, to take their wounded and leave.

Gen’jin quickly took Ryleen on his shoulder, but Haradar insisted to remain behind. Ryleen Who barely was a consciousness, wanted Haradar with them, but Gen’jin who knew that Haradars Warsong blood should keep him out of harms way, took the wounded Warlord and fled. Ryleen was not happy about it, but was too weak to resist, she fainted as they made their way out of Undercity.

Gen’jin managed to contact both Chabat and Gulzayne through the spirit link, and arranged a meeting with Chabat, so she could port them all to Ogrimmar where Gulzayne would be waiting. Gen’jin hid in a barn, and waited for Chabat.

Gulzayne managed to successfully heal Ryleen’s wounds, and he also removed an arrowhead from Gen’jin leg.

(( I promised Chab, that I would Post this, if she posted the meeting info Wink ))

I iz the evil bastard undead! Yay! lol!

-----------------------------------------------
After the departure of Ryleen and Gen'jin, the House put Haradar to sleep, and carried him away. Corigo was told that he should keep away from other trolls and orcs, and that he should remain in Undercity to hone his skills, and was send away.

(In case anyone cares what happened after Ryleen and Gen'jin left.)

Very nicely written, Gen'jin. Who knew there was such a poet hidden in our dear shadow hunter? Wink
