Guild meeting 15th June

At the meeting were Chabat, Zinzalji, Stargazer, Jinaz, ‘Ros, Ryleen, Skeen, Rokalm and Gnaljin.

Although it was not discussed officially at the meeting, it seems there has been another step up in hostile actions by the alliance in the past week. Ryleen plans to ask the Blades if they have made a decision about how to proceed.

There will be another chance for us all to meet up for dinner this week in the valley of spirits. Last week’s gathering was a success with Ryleen cooking Roasted Kodo Meat and Loch Frenzy Delight so don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy some excellent cooking and the company of friends this Friday.

The guild has also been invited to attend a celebration in the Filthy Animal in Dalaran, hosted by the Warsong Blades. The party is to mark the anniversary of the formation of the Blades and will take place on Saturday the 27th of June.

Ryleen then dealt with a few promotions and rank changes. First, she felt the title of ‘Steward’ carried by Zanick, is not really fitting for her current role in the guild and so she will join the veterans until such time as we are able to ask her if she would be able to take on a Master’s rank.
As Stargazer is the medicine woman for the guild, Ryleen asked if she would take on the responsibility of a Master’s rank. Once she accepted, we all congratulated Star on her promotion and, as she plans to give some training sessions on basic healing using bandages and herbs at some point in the future, everybody should pay attention to the spirit link so as not to miss when the event is announced.

Gnaljin was the next to be promoted and joined the Kindred of the Heritage. Ryleen announced that, although we have in the past asked new recruits to take the oath when they join us as outsiders, in the future we will save that for when they become Kindred as it has more meaning and they will more fully understand who and what they are declaring their allegiance to.
Rokalm’s promotion to Kindred was also discussed but in light of his previous association with Shadowtroll and the absence of both Gen’jin, who conducted Rokalm’s loyalty test, and Deyyania, who was the most concerned about him joining us, Ryleen postponed this until they could be consulted.

As an aside, Ryleen explained about our troubles with Shadowtroll for our newer members. (note: Anybody that wishes to find out more details can check the records of our previous meetings as I’ve got them all stored safely).
