Finally...a description for Chabat!

Post  Vypra on Fri May 30, 2008 2:25 pm

Yep, from tonight, those with RP addons should be able to see the following:

Fresh faced teenager just on the edge of womanhood. Her hands and face are often smudged with ink or charcoal, either from extensive note-taking in her studies or scribbling in her diary. Usually carries a bag stuffed to bursting with scraps of parchment, a sewing kit and swatches of cloth, and several small bottles of powders.

Wears a polished clam shell on a long cord about her neck.

And Jen still hasn't met Chabat, or really any from the Heritage. *sulks and pouts*

FlagRSP2 is the best.

I used to have flagrsp2, but upgraded to ImmersionRP. It's much more practical and good looking.

I would use it, but can't find a working version of ImmersionRP. I downloaded the mod from a couple of site, but alas.. out of date.

this seems to be the latest update: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/11944/

I use Flags, but I did like Immersion. I still wish they'd actually integrate something like it into the game as standard though.

Thanks Vypra.
It does make sense it intergrate a similar feature into the game. I personally think the firends list is useless, because after about a week I forget why a certain person is on the list. :S Very embassasing having to ask them how I know them.

well, there is that little tab now that allows you to add a note, but yeah, it's a silly setup. having said that, I know why almost all the people are in my list. Thing is though; I rarely make contact with those outside of my Guilds and RP, and for Lyranne and Whrae, most of the friends predate either.

So Blizz, hear us now: Integrate something useful!

Yeah, in your social list, there's a tiny image that looks like a notebook page. If you click on it, you can add a small amount of text ( about the same amount as for your Guild note ). It's pretty useless, but you can at least put <insert name here>'s alt.

I think it might be useful when you make new contacts, to remember where you have met that person. Recently, I always have to delete people from my friendlist nowadays if I want to add new people; 50 people is really not much.

I regularly cull my friends list ( glad I didn't forget the word 'list' there ^^ ), as it used to always get full. Sadly, it does mean removing a name of someone who I may well have fond memories of, but just doesn't log on all that often.
